Welcome to CLRSC
(Central London Rough Sleepers Committee)
The Central London Rough Sleepers Committee (CLRSC) is a voluntary organisation set up in 2008 with the sole ambition to provide a safe and peaceful environment for rest, food and conversation to the vulnerable in Central London. Rough sleepers are invited to attend events which are held roughly every two weeks by invitations available through local day centres. Meals are organised and run by volunteers. Attendance regularly reaches 60-75 guests per event.
Events are run by voluntary support. We do not ask for any minimum time commitment to join the meal. Volunteers are asked just a week before any meal event is held to confirm if they are available to attend. We welcome anyone interested in being involved in a meal to contact us – no experience required.
The CLRSC is a secular voluntary organisation funded by private donations. Our meal locations have recently changed and will be held at St Annes Church in Soho and The Welsh Church in Central London Fitzrovia due to their central London locations.

Special thanks to...
Our dedicated team which includes our committee, meal leaders and volunteers that make every meal an event willingly dedicate their personal time on a Saturday night to support our aim which is to encourage socialisation.
Of course none of this would be possible without our Founder and Deputy Chair, Professor Stefan Allesch-Taylor CBE. He has funded over 90% of the events since 2008 and has committed further funding until at least 2030. We also receive support from The Department of Coffee and Social Affairs, that not only offer supplies for the meals but also give essential behind the scenes support.
We would also like to thank our chefs for consistently delivering such varied and excellent cuisine and our pool of over 250 volunteers that regularly give up their Saturday nights to support the work of the Central London Rough Sleepers Committee, without whom our organisation could not function.
Chair, Central London Rough Sleepers Committee.
